Arbois is a small wine growing town situated in the heart of the Jura region.

The natural sites
The Jura offers a number of natural sites such as waterfalls, reculées(precipitious blind valleys typical of the Jura mountains), caves, lakes and forests. Just minutes away from our holiday park you can visit the Tufs waterfalls, the Moidons caves and the Planches reculée.
Hiking and biking lovers can discover varied and diverse landscapes thanks to 600 kilometers of signposted tracks and paths adapted to both families and the athletic.
Must-see places
In the heart of the town of Arbois you can find the home of Louis Pasteur. This untouched home is now a museum dedicated to his memory, where, in particular, you will discover the laboratory where he carried out his scientific experiments.
In the museum of the Vineyard and Wine of the Jura, also situated in Arbois, you can discover the history and traditions of the winegrowers in the cellars of the Museum in the Château Pécauld.
Just a few kilometers away you will discover the two saltworks in Salins les Bains and Arc et Senans. At these two UNESCO World heritage sites you will discovery the history of salt, different exhibitions and magnificent permanent and temporary gardens. A moment out of time, not to be missed.
Swimming
The Jura is rich in natural sites to enjoy a moment of refreshment:

- Leisure area Lake Desnes at 35 min
- The river La Loue in Chamblay at 15 min
- Osselle leisure centre at 35 min
While waiting for the end of the work on the Arbois swimming pool, you can also go to the Poligny swimming pool which is located 10 minutes (by car) from the campsite.
Gastronomy
Arbois, capital of the Jura wines, invites you to discover its 483 hectares of vineyards and its famous wines, including the « Vin Jaune » during a wine tasting in the numerous winegrowers cellars.
There are many traditional and gastronomical restaurants which will delight connoisseurs.
Close by you can visit the capital of the Comté cheese, Poligny. Here you can visit the « maison du Comté », which contributes to the identity and dynamism of this town.
Leisure activites
There are many activities to be discoverd alone or with a family.
Fishing lovers can easily get access to the Cuisance river to carry out their favourite activity in a calm , natural environment.
Nearby you can try gliding or parapent and canoeing and kayaking in the Loue river. You can also go horse-riding.
